Bathroom Remodel

With the holidays, we had the time to visit the local bath warehouses and got inspired to get into the details of the master bath remodeling we need to do due to a water leak that has been long overdue for a fix~

This is what we're thinking thus far:

Since the program doesn't have a way to make built in wall shelves, I fudged it by using a wall walkthrough and resizing it to size; the depth unfortunately can't be resized :-P 

The entrance into the bathroom from the master bedroom:

Fore reference, the tub is about 48"x48".

Credit to the hubs for the idea to lift the shelf up for space for the cat litter.

The shelf will have to be reinforced from the inside of the walls me thinks.

Previous experience in this bathroom, the wet towels would actually cause mold to grow on the wall, so I've added the heated wall towel :-P. $$$

Lake House

Back in 2021, I drew out my sister in law's lake house to enable her to do a light remodel to accommodate for her family's needs.

2023, she would like to add 2 more rooms.

The blue area indicates the site property line.

I explored 2 possible ways to extend the house.

Extension - v. Courtyard

This layout may not be possible as the extension may be above the septic system. Though we imagined this might be a fun option to create an aviary courtyard.

Extension - v. L

This extends the house west ward which has the downside of blocking the pool's sun and narrowing the driveway to the lake.

Is a rowed closet preferred as below or separated as above which could enable more dedicated entry spaces to a room?

There's also a stand alone shed on the property for which we could also convert if desired ...

Pre-Fab Home v2023

For a much larger great room to be able to entertain better and have space for all the exercise stuff~

v3. a more grandiose stairwell from the entry and also better landing for the 2nd floor

slightly narrower building to account for a wider tandem driveway

Piano faces the couch for more social musical events?

The views are North & South, so this design aligns better with optimizing the views.

The atrium alignment is kooky though :-/

I would put mirrors on these sliding doors to the utility room under the stairs.

The mirrors would be useful for the aerial silks :-)

Floor planner unfortunately can't handle atriums but where the round carpet is.

The round carpet marks where we'd set up aerial silks within the 2 story atrium~
